During the height of the COVID pandemic, I found myself stuck in the heart of Kandy, in central Sri Lanka. Travel was limited, resources were few but something unexpected happened.
I wasn’t alone. A group of students gathered around me young, curious minds eager to learn. With no formal setup, we created our own space for sharing ideas. I began teaching them what I knew, and in return, I learned just as much from them.
It turned into one of the most exciting and meaningful times of my journey.
Up on a quiet mountaintop, without a proper studio, just creativity and determination—I completed the concept art for the Mahasona game character, visualized The Case horror game, and started building out the Lanka City project.
